Thank the lord!

Ooo I'm a little flustered right now with being back at work...i mean I just had a 4 day weekend and I'm so not ready to be back! I keep thinking that I'm counting down to another fabulous 3 month vacation but then reality hits and ehem I'm in the working world now and technically have only 4 days of vacation left! Ugh poop...let's not think about that! I probably don't want to be here because I had such a fabulous & drunken weekend! Here's a lil recap...well at least of what i remember!

Thursday:
Promised myself I would only have one drink at work which eventually turned into 3 and so missed bootcamp (AGAIN). Oh well...went home and had dinner with a bottle of wine. Continued onwards to the Strand for Superman's birthday celebrations and somehow ended up with a Strand membership card?! Umm okay! Nikkisha and I then went to Sapphire where the sleazy owner let us cut the line which curled around the block and thank the lord for free as well! I have never actually seen the club that busy and was really not that fun if you call being pushed from side to side entertaining! One of my boys from Cornell is back here tho and am soo excited to be able to chill with him and his girl! Um...also had one of the few black guys in the club come up to me asking me if we knew each other only to find out he's seen me in Canarsie, Bk....hmm!
I managed to stumble home around 3/4ish and was in bed by 5:30...i think?!

Friday:
Ugh all the rain was just driving me nuts! I stayed in ALL day...hmm i think! I bought myself a bottle of wine and drank it entirely by myself while reading my book?! True sign of an alchie? Oh and soo appropriately I managed to watch Passion of the Christ.... D later went out and i passed out unable to function for the rest of the night. How exciting!

Saturday:
After waking up sometime after midday....!tragic really! D and I managed to motivate ourselves and walked to the Rocks for some pancakes. I wasn't that impressed but it definetly filled the tummy! The rest of the day I decided to play house wife although that didn't last too long...eventually I was back on the couch with a glass of wine in my hand! And soon I was once again plastered!!

Sunday:
Staying up real late the previous night, I was absolutely exhausted when I dragged myself outta bed for Kitkat's Easter Breakfast. And i'm so glad i did because nothing beats scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and toast....delicious! And not to mention the orange/poppy cake...yum yum! By the time I got back home, I was meant to chill with my boy from Cu and his girl however our 5pm meeting time changed into 10:30pm and then as we showed up to the club D realised he left his ID at home so it was back home only to come back 30min later!

We went to some real dodgy place on George street...but hey free drinks although the wine tasted like poison...not a lie! I also felt like i was 16 again because the decor and vibe made it feel like a school dance! Too funny....Eventually like every weekend we managed to find a hip hop place and because I only had my credit card with me a glass of wine became a bottle of wine and a rum and coke was one with double shots hence....once again truly smashed!!

Monday
I couldn't look or smell alcohol that day...although wait actually i had a glass of red wine with my pasta! Yum....Again another lazy day although instead of being responsible and going to bed on time for a fun/short week at work, D&I ended up playing poker till late hours in the night all for an 8 min massage....and guess what i lost! Argh...

And so with all that said...thank the lord for a great weekend and i hope everyone had a lovely easter!Now its back to work counting down the hours till I get to go to the Roots concert and eat Thai food! Aight and tha's all folks! Muuuuah
