Monday morning...not exactly my favourite day of the week! This morning I was running late...no really running late. I had planned my outfit in my head the previous night only to not find the shirt I wanted wear this morning ( I still have no idea where it is and its bugging me). After rummaging thru my closet, I quickly decided on something and run outta the house (not so easy when you have a hyper little puppy!)
Anyways...dropped the puppy off at doggy day care (yes I know...no comments pls.) and finally I'm on the train to work. It's suprisingly packed...perhaps because i'm running late and usually i'm on the train much earlier? So you know how it goes...you end up pushin up on some people, some people push up on you...the joy of rush hour! This guy is pushin up against me and starts whispering things in my ear along the lines of " Ooo you smell so good! And ooo you look so good etc..." The usual bullshit...I actually turned around and told him to stop.
Stop! Seriously....where do you think this is getting you? Do you think I'm going to turn around and fall madly in love with you? That I'm going to want to spend the rest of my life with you? Nope...instead I really should have slapped this guy!
And so my question of the day is....Guys,what are you thinking when you pull this crap?!

Clay Aiken is G-A-Y
Did we really need a public confession in PEOPLE magazine to confirm that he's gay?! I'm sorry this has been a known fact for years now...

Game or NO Game?
So Saturday night was a big night...i repeat a BIG night. Started drinking at 4pm at a nice beer garden and didn't get home till I think 5am?! Good times although it's now 2 days later and I'm wishing I didn't drink as much! The recovery has been brutal!Eh whatcha gone do?
Anyways the point of this blog is not to recap my night but ponder a gentlemen's so called "GAME." I met this cute guy at the party...danced the night away and ended up exchanging numbers. Although I remembered that he was cute, that was about the extent of it...didn't remember his name or the conversations we had had. (And yes we did talk because he knew I was Belgian! Ha ofcourse)
So to continue the story, tell me why that same evening he felt it necessary to send me a text that he got home safely. I'm glad he got home safely but I don't know him why would he feel the need to let me know? I let it go...i was too drunk to care anyways! My bed was the only thing on my mind at that point.
I wake up that morning to find another couple of texts and for the rest of the day we send messages back and forth. Now...here's the question: Is that game?I would have expected a couple of days before I heard from him. Probably would have forgotten I met him and then out of the blue received a message but instead this boy did not wait! I don't really know what to think of it....eager or plain and simple not wasting any time?!
And so that leads me to Question #2: What's the happy medium? If by a guy calling u the next day, we assume he must be eager or something is off then how long should a guy wait to call us? Should we instead be flattered that he wanted to contact you straight away?
We're planning to meet up sometime this week...i'll keep u posted! Hopefully not a freak!

What am I missing here?!
It's 10am now and i'm sitting at my desk already counting down the hours to the weekend! I just had my cup of hazelnut coffee ie. daily stalking on facebook time!
In today's facebook stalking session, I learned that two of my former school mates just recently got married. Tell me why they were both the big dorks in my year always studying, always on top of their grind and really not a whole lot of fun (chances are their idea of fun is very different from mine). In HS, they were the ones who never had boys chasing after them or boys turning heads as they walked by and yet I can't help but wonder why is it that they have found that special someone and i'm single & ready to mingle yet again.
Is it because perhaps I'm too picky, too vain, too much of a perfectionist...eh who knows? The point is...I find that the people you least expect to get married or find that special someone always seem to beat you to it. Is there something I'm not getting?

Drink in one hand....

You'd think that maybe just maybe I might mature with age....WRONG.
Yes with a beer in one hand (which later turned into shots)...last nights' random 'let's go for a drink' turned into a rather drunken experience! Irresponsible much?
Eh No...good times. I could probably have done without the last two shots but hey you're only young once.
