Although my college days are over (for now anyways), it seems that recently I have kept the tradition of starting weekends on thursdays alive! With that said tho, thursday nights are the only hip hop nights in Sydney....i mean a girls gotta do whats she gots to do! I can't live without some good booty shaking!
Yesterday, being thursday, D,Nikkisha and I had decided to check out this bar that does reggae nights. All pumped up and excited to dance, we walked into the place to find it entirely empty with maybe 5 people in a corner and the dj just playing hit after hit. The bar had just closed down at 11pm!!! The three of us were the only ones dancing and having fun for a hot minute...
So last night we ended up at Sapphire Lounge at Kings Cross...After some drama, we managed to get in without paying the entrance charge...saving $60 whoa ( more money to spend on drinks) A little later we realise some basketball players from the Singaporean team were there and ofcourse having D around, they ended up chillin the entire night.
All in all, another great night in Sydney despite the fact that now i'm dying at work all hungover! Thank the lord I've got only 2 more hours to go! Whoa
