100 random things

I got this from some strangers’ blog but thought it was pretty cool…maybe not that great for you guys to read but definitely a great way for me to spend my time at work!

Here are a 100 random things I bet you didn’t know about me:

1. I cannot deal with open cabinet doors! Just close them!
2. If I think my notes are not pretty enough, I will rewrite them.
3. I always write in blue pens….do NOT like black pens!
4. When taking a shower, I wash my hair first.
5. I dislike the term “Asian” because it’s used to mostly refer to Japanese, Koreans and Chinese when Asia is sooo much bigger than just those three nations!
6. I’m allergic to cockroaches….and everything else!
7. I wish I could eradicate poverty and find a cure for AIDS…I do( not being cliché)
8. My favourite colours are green and gold (works with the whole Australia thing)
9. When I was younger, little kids made fun of my RED hair.
10. I had a baby gecko whom I named Alf living in my bedroom in Singapore.
11. My feet are smaller than my partners’ hands!
12. I think I’ve seen every Law& Order episode
13. I’ve had facial cosmetic surgery…I had a mud tattoo on my forehead!
14. My favourite type of sushi: Unagi ( Eel )
15. I cry easily (while watching movies, when upset, when stressed etc.)
16. I wish I was a professional dancer ( I would have to be a better dancer tho)
17. I looove my music! No really it’s a passion!
18. My mom is one of my best friends and also personal stylist! Thanks Mama!
19. I have friends from every continent well not counting Antarctica!
20. On that note, I have been to every continent except Antarctica!
21. My favourite sport to watch is basketball followed by tennis.
22. Favourite sport to actually do…swimming & tennis
23. I get tired easily and need 8 hours of sleep to function!
24. Speaking of sleeping…I dream like crazy and talk, shout, cry in my sleep!
25. I think way too much....and tend to overanalyse….I wish I didn’t!
26. I can honestly say that I’ve never cheated in a relationship
27. Nothing better than a night of dancing! I could dance ALL night!
28. I would be depressed if I lost all my songs and CDs
29. I don’t know what or where home is.
30. I feel I don’t belong anywhere yet I also feel I belong EVERYWHERE.
31. I don’t believe in a pre-determined destiny, we chose our destiny thru our actions.
32. Although Roman Catholic, I don’t know if I believe in GOD.
33. Won MVP three of my high school years for track and now I’m an awful runner!

35. I don’t drink tap water…only bottled and prefer sparkling…San Pellegrino

37. If I ever have children, they will have to attend international schools
38. When I’m sick, there is nothing better than tea,lemon,honey and scotch all in one!

40. I hate going shopping but I love fashion…
41. I have a great grandmother who just turned 95 and doesn’t know who I am.
42. I’m scared of piercing blue eyes….I’m serious!
43. I iron everything….including towels.
44. I never leave the house without spraying on deo and perfume.
45. I only use Rexona spray deo….I hate those rub stick things! Ew!
46. I wasn’t allowed to buy the rhcp cd with the band members crossing the street while only wearing a sock on their penises.
47. At the age of 7, I dreamt of being a baton twirler…my grandma made me one of silver paper and sparkles so I could practice in my hall way.
48. Around the same age, I knew the Lambada song by heart! Don’t anymore…
49. I’ve had stitches 5 times in my life so far…
50. I have luckily never broken a bone…knock on wood!
51. My older cousin was my idol growing up…I’m her bridesmaid in June! Yah!
52. I got my drivers license at 21 because I was scared of other cars.
53. Summer ’06 my life flashed before me when my car did two 360 degree turns on the road…I thought I was going to die.
54. If I had to chose between a dog and a cat…a cat ( you can let them do their own thing….no need to walk them either…less maintenance)
55. I’d like to have two wedding ceremony’s…one in Belgium in my towns church and the other on the beach in the Caribbean.
56. Back in 8th grade, I sported the Sharon Stone short boy hair cut….
57. The first store I went to when it was my first time in the USA was “ The Gap”
58. I think the Body Shop = the stinky shop….
59. I don’t believe in love at first sight…rather lust at first sight.
60. I never know the lyrics to songs, I’m notorious for having my own versions which conveniently I always assumed were right!
61. I’m not really a desert person…I prefer a cheese plate.
62. I was born a week late…I was meant to have my sisters birthday and she was meant to have mine…ah well we’re still both Aquarians.
63. I don’t take ignorance lightly…
64. I truly believe that travelling the world makes you a different person although not necessarily better…does that make sense?
65. I grew wearing the same outfits as my sister and with my brother wearing the boy version…yeah that’s what happens when your family owns a clothes business.
66. I wore a school uniform for 11 years and I’m such a fan. Avoids a lot of discrimination.
67. I prefer white chocolate and preferably Cote D’Or or Leonidas pralines.
68. Prada shoes are definitely the most comfortable designer shoes!
69. I like to be pushed to the limit and exposed to new thoughts & ideas.
70. I looove the smell of “THE” medicine…I love it as potpourri….
71. I regret that I’m not fluent in Japanese and partly blame my parents for not pushing me as a young child.
72. I have a scuba diving license and love the underwater world minus sharks.
73. Although I’m always on the move, I HATE flying. I’m so scared!
74. So scared of flying that I have cried during turbulence! Shhh.
75. Continuing on this topic, I make a cross every time before take off.hehe
76. If had to choose to stop eating meat or fish, it would have to be meat!
77. I don’t really like whole turkey, not even with gravy! Only like it on a sandwich and thinly sliced.
78. I love mashed potatoes. I used to go to Petak’s (best deli in NYC) and get it for a snack!
79. I’m learning to eat chicken but only when it’s not on a bone (all after 22 years).
80. A couple of years ago, I was set on changing my name to Axelle or Aurelie.
81. I have no middle name because my dad forgot about it when he registered me.
82. I had nightmares of standing in the corner when I was younger because I was worried that if a fire took place, I would burn alive. Hey, I couldn’t leave the corner.
83. On that note, don’t care what people say…my children will be punished by standing in the corner.
84. Ignorance is not bliss.
85. I cannot stand tourists who think they can just speak English everywhere and that locals who don’t speak English are idiots…um no you’re the idiot for ONLY speaking English!
86. I don’t like people who make assumptions based on stereotypes…
87. I don’t think I fit a stereotype…and NO I’m not a dumb blonde!
88. I love to rep Belgium although at times I feel I don’t know it all.
89. My ideal family would be to have 3 boys and one little chill ass girl.
90. I have great respect for my elders ( something I learned in Japan)
91. I absolutely HATE the colour purple…it just shouldn’t exist.
92. I wish more people would learn from their mistakes…we can learn more from the fact that history repeats itself.
93. In the last year, I realised I have been in the hospital 4 times on IV too!!
94. I don’t like people who try to hard to be cool…just be your self! It shows you try too hard!
95. I guess that goes hand in hand with how I love to own clothes that no one else has!
96. I also love colours in my clothes… I hate the boring corporate white & black.
97. When I clean my ears, I always cough…
98. I have very scarred eardrums from lots of ear infections as a little girlie.
99. I think tomato sauce in Australia is yummier than ketchup.
100. I think wonder bread/fake bread is absolutely disgusting…it’s poison!
