Happy Valentine's Day!
February 14th…the one day of the year when you’re supposed to show your significant other how much you appreciate them being a part of your life! Okay that’s nice and all that but hmmm why just that one day? I mean shouldn’t you appreciate them everyday?!
Personally I would rather have unexpected romantic dinners or unexpectedly receive a dozen roses…wouldn’t you? Valentine’s day has just become another pathetic excuse to purchase chocolates, teddy bears and roses! It’s become such a rage that in Japan, it’s an obligation for women to buy chocolates for all their male co-workers. Males are then expected to return the obligation a month later on March 14 known as “White Day”!
At least that way, even if you are single, you still get chocolates or roses!!
Speaking of being single…Valentine’s Day is the ultimate reminder of lacking a partner! If you are indeed single…it might as well be called “ A Single’s Awareness Day”! And on that note….if you’re single F&CK Valentine’s Day! And if you’re in a relationship….appreciate your significant other every day and not just today!
